A Message to everyone who has made a donation for Bingley Life Saving Club.
We would like to express our sincerest thanks to Joe, Philippa and Bethany and to everyone who has made a donation to our club. We are overwhelmed and humbled by your response.
We will use donations to remember Josh in many ways.
Initially, we plan to create an award to be named Josh's Otter, which will be given to each child who learns to swim those first few strokes in the water- who gets their "feet off the bottom". It's the badge that says "I can swim" and we know it will make Josh smile every time it is awarded.
We teach life saving, safety in the water and we are all volunteers, so every penny is put towards promoting this aim. We try to ensure as many young people as possible have the opportunity to develop their skills, from the youngest 5 year old , the children, the young people who wish to become lifeguards, or teach with us, right through to encompass the whole family.
So Josh's legacy will be carried into the future through the skills of our young people as they move forward in life.
From each and everyone of our members, a heartfelt thank you.

There are no words that can relief the pain of the loss of your beloved son, even though the love that the family and friends show to you in this difficult time would make you feel warm and supported.
Remember the words from the book of Job: 21saying: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.”
Just the Lord can give you the peace and comfort you need, so our prayers are for you and for Josh so he can rest in peace.
